WATER STATIONS
At each water station, you will find water and an electrolyte replacement drink. There are three aid stations on the 13.1 course that you will pass a total of six times. They are located approximately miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12.
Gels are available by request ONLY at the westernmost aid station
Although there are cups on the course at each aid station, remember that we always maintain a "CUP FREE FINISH." There are coolers for refilling your personal water bottle at the expo area.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located at the Expo area. There is access to restrooms/portojohns along the course as well
COURSE SURFACE
Both courses are on 100% concrete with the exception of some foot bridges made of wood composites.
COURSE CUT-OFF
The Half Marathon Course is open for 3:30:00. The event starts at 7:30 AM, therefore, the finish line closes at 11:00 AM. If you need more time, please email the race director in advance so you can start with other walkers up to 60 minutes in advance of the run start time!
DOGS
Dogs are welcome in the 5k! We just ask that they are kept on a short leash and you start off to the side or near the back as to not impede other racers.
STROLLERS
Strollers are welcome at the Longmont Half and 5k! We just ask that you start off to the side or near the back as to not impede other racers.
